Levi Abner Abbe died December 5, 1944 at his home southwest of Walters. He was born in Navarro County, Texas, February 26, 1880, the son of Levi Aaron Abbe and Mary Emeline McCune. His birth was just two months after his father died. His Mother married again to George W. Myers and they moved to Clay County, Texas. In 1905 he married Miss Vyan Annie Foster and shortly after they moved to Cotton County Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Ella Mae Abbe Brown and four sons, Clemmie, Clint, Cleo and Raymond and six grandchildren, two brothers, John Mitchell Abbe and Aaron Lee Abbe; one sister, Mary Rosalee Abbe Millett. His Mother and one son Clyde, preceded him in death. Services were held at the First Baptist Church and burial in Walters Cemetery.
