DAVENPORT -- Violet Madden, 95, of Davenport, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, at Manor Care Health Services, Davenport, after an extended illness.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Davenport Memorial Park.
Runge Mortuary and Crematory, Davenport, is in charge of arrangements.
Violet Cook was born April 1, 1903, in Madison, Ill. She married John Madden in 1925 in Mount Carmel, Ill. He died in 1997.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
Survivors include a daughter, Wilma James, and a son, Charles, both of Davenport; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-grandson; and brothers, Doyle and Elwood Cook, both of Davenport.
