Mr. Gary W. Balentine, age 61 of Mountain Home passed away Friday, May 6, 2011, at his residence.
Gary W. Balentine was born June 22, 1949, in Marshall, Arkansas to Herol and Geraldine (Horton) Balentine.
He married Kathy Massey June 15, 1968, in Marshall, Arkansas. Gary enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, and restoring cars; especially ‘65 Mustangs. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Gary W. Balentine is survived by his wife Kathy Balentine of the home; 1 son, Corey Balentine (Whitney) of Rogers, Arkansas; 1 daughter, Kara Ford (Travis) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 3 grandchildren, Eston Ford, Anna Ford, and Elle Balentine; his father, Herol Balentine of Kansas City, Missouri; 1 half-sister, Debbie Franano of Overland Park, Kansas; father-in-law, Troy Massey of Marshall, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Geraldine Balentine, and grandparents; Wright and Wilma Horton, Elmer and Loal Balentine, and Fletus & Ethel Russell.
Visitation for Mr. Balentine will be Noon – 9 PM Monday at the Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home, with the family receiving friends 5-7 PM.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday at Marshall Memorial Gardens.
