Son of William D "Billy" Weems & Mary Elizabeth Smith-NEVER MARRIED. Married to Katie Phillips 4-7-1914. Married once or twice more to possibly Felta Smith and Ms Marie. Had two daughters Francis Smith-Hatfield & Joan Smith-Graves. Fought in WWI 1st Infantry Army, Discharged 6-19-1919. Had TB. Murdered-hit on the head by a jealous husband with a Beer Bottle. Burial Record lists him born 3-16-1895 this is incorrect. 1900 Census record list him as 10 year old farm laborer and WWI & WWII Draft list him born 3-6-1890 which is correct.
