Julia C. Gleeson, 90, of Kansas City, MO, passed away February 6, 2004, at St. Joseph Health Center. The family will receive friends at McGilley State Line Chapel on Sunday, February 8, from 6-8 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, February 9 at St. Thomas More Church, and Burial at Calvary Cemetery. Julia was born Julia Drago in New London, CT, October 5, 1913. She worked as a secretary to the commanding officer at the Submarine Base until she met her husband of 50 years, James Gleeson, who preceded her in death on May 1, 1996. She lived out her remaining years in her home in South Kansas City. She is survived by her three sons, James Jr., Robert, and William; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. (Arr.
