Frank was the youngest child of Francis F. Turley and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Weir) Turley. Born in central Missouri, the family moved for a time to Colorado and then on to the Los Angeles area. Frank never married. He died in an accident when he was struck by a car. Frank was 48 years old at the time of his death. Services were taken care of by the Elks Club in Cocoran, California, where he lived and then his body was removed to Forest Lawn, Glendale, where he was buried close to his father.
