Sullivan County Democrat, Callicoon, NY DOWN THE DECADES in an issue printed Tuesday Apr 9 2024 pg 4A: 1944 William Abplanalp of Youngsville received a letter praising the good work and leadership of his son, Glenn, from an office in his company.

William P Abplanalp, 79, of Youngsville, died Friday, June 7 1963 in the Liberty-Loomis Hospital.


He was born in Youngsville, Dec 7 1883, son of the late Andrew and Rose Eggler Abplanalp. He was married to the late Elizabeth TREMPER and was a member of the Callicoon Lodge 521, F & A M., the Odd Fellows and the Youngsville Presbyterian Church.


Surviving are a son, Glenn of Ridgewood, NJ; a sister, Mrs Ella Sanders of Youngsville and 2 grandchildren.


Funeral services were held on Monday at 2 at the Coleman Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, the Rev. John Mangin officiating. Interment was in the Youngsville Presbyterian Cemetery. Masonic services were held at the funeral home Sunday at 8.
