Graveside services with military honors for Robert L. Powell, 80, of Lakeside, were held yesterday in El Cajon Cemetery. Lakeside-Santee Funeral Chapel was in charge. He died Monday in a hospital. Mr. Powell was born in Louisiana, lived in the county 48 years and was a contractor. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Violet; a daughter, Avilda Ehrke of Paso Robles, Calif.; two sisters, Dora Kail and Susie Eller, both of Kansas; and two grandchildren. The family suggested donations to Lakeside Presbyterian Church.
