They lived for a time in Douglas, Garfield, Oklahoma, where their son Earl Malcolm and daughter Dorothy Pauline were born. They moved to Lynwood, California, where their daughter Phyllis Arlene was born. About 1940, the family moved to Paradise, Butte, California, where Leeta spent most of the rest of her life.
