Manville Hunt Muntz, age 61, died Saturday, September 22, 1979, at his residence. He was a maintenance engineer with the Paris Administrative Services Unit, Department of Human Resources. He was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, a son of Lillie Dean Hunt Muntz and the late Elbert Green Muntz. Mr. Muntz was a veteran of the Army in World War II. While in combat, he received the Combat Infantryman's Badge and the Bronze Star for meritorious service. He was a member of First Baptist Church, in Paris, Kentucky, where he was a Sunday school teacher, soloist and music worship leader. He was also a member of Paris Lodge No. 2 F&AM and the Millersburg Rotary Club.

Survivors include: his wife, Ann Morris; his first wife of 32 years and the mother of his five children, Geneva Duckworth Muntz; five children, Marsha Muntz, of Arlington, Virginia, Susan (Van) Smith, of Paris, Raymond Manville Muntz, of Winchester, Jenny (Wendell) Keith, of Georgetown, and William Myles Muntz, of Paris; one grandson, Jeremy Smith; two granddaughters, Megan Smith and Wendy Keith; three sisters, Rosalie Hausberger, of Lexington, Elberta Straight, of Lakeland, Florida, and Elizabeth McCauley, of Harrison County; and his beloved mother, Lillie Hunt Muntz.

Burial was at Beaver Baptist Church Cemetery, in Harrison County. Pallbearers were Yancey Muntz, Jimmy Muntz, Mark McCauley, C.A. McElroy, Robert Crockett and Stanton Summey.
