Inscription

SACRED
To the memory of
HANNAH COLEMAN
Wife of Thomas B. Coleman of Cornwall Furnace
Born 8th October 1796
Died 19th November 1830
In the various relations of
Wife Mother Daughter Relative and Friend
She practiced every virtue and
Displayed every quality which could adorn her
Sex and give grace and dignity to
Human nature
Lovely in person mild in manner
Benevolent in feeling refined in matters
Pious without ostentation delighting in doing good
She lived
BELOVED
And died
LAMENTED
Pure from all stain was that of human clay
Which Christ's atoning blood hath washed away
By mortal suffering now no more oppressed
Mount soaring spirit to thy destined rest.
