Jessie M. Crozier, 91, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. Services: Thursday at Turner West Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Townsley of Clover Ridge United Methodist Church of Walford will officiate. Interment: Anderson Cemetery, Swisher.
Survivors include son Jerry Leslie Crozier of Fairfax; a daughter Linda Larry Keyes of Davenport; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Darrel Crozier Sr., son Darrel Crozier, Jr., five sisters, and one brother.
Jessie Marie Crozier was born December 5, 1914 in Aton, Nebraska the beloved daughter of Raymond and Evalyn Sage Ford. She married Darrel Crozier on November 24, 1932 in Mt. Vernon. She was a member of Clover Ridge United Methodist Church of Walford, and a charter member of the Women's Society of Christian Services. She greatly enjoyed gardening, bowling, dancing, cooking, grandchildren, and her time on the family farm. She was known as being a genuine, friendly person who will always be remembered for her smile and laughter.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Jessie's honor.
