Anna Ruth Sauls, 62, of Iberia died Friday, April 20, 1990 at her home. She was born May 11, 1927 in Iberia to Chester and Ellora Eads Groff. She was married June 16, 1951 in Iberia to John B. Sauls, who died the same day.
Mrs. Sauls was a graduate of Bethany Nazarene College in Bethany, Okla. and was a teacher in Colorado in the late 1940s. She was a member of the Iberia Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving her are a son, Russ A. Sauls of Iberia; and two sisters, Oleva Slawson of Iberia and Virginia Howard of Pueblo, Colo.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Iberia Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. John Bouldrey officiating. Burial was in Bethany Cemetery near Crocker under the direction of Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home of Iberia.
