Served as a Quartermaster 2nd class aboard the USS Lawrence from 31 Aug to 19 September 1917. Stationed at Princeton University, Princeton, NJ from 19 September 1917 to 15 February 1918. Stationed at Torpedo Station, Newport, Rhode Island from 15 February 1918 to 11 November 1918.

1930 Magazine Publisher married to Julia [---] in Pasadena, California. In the 1943 Pasadena Directory, he is married to Helen [---] and lists his occupation as advertising.
