Mrs. Rebecca Howell, age 70, a pioneer of Henry county, died Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Russell Gates, in Prairie township, after an illness of 2 weeks, of a complication of troubles. Mrs. Howell is survived by two sons: Fletcher A. Howell of Muncie and Charles R. Howell of Detroit. The funeral was held in the Blountsville M. E. Church at 10 o'clock this morning and interment was made in the Blountsville Cemetery.
