MRS. MABEL NEWTON
NELSON - Mrs. Mabel M. Newton, 72, Cazenovia RD 3, died Thursday afternoon in Hamilton Community Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for four days.
She was born May 7, 1890 in Perryville, the daughter of Johnathon and Charlotte Stewart Baldwin. She made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Krumenacker for the past 17 years.
Mrs. Newton was a member of the Mayflower Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Morrisville and the Morrisville United Church and its Lady's Guild.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Krumenacker, three stepdaughters, Mrs. Elbert Hulse, Riverhead, L. I., Mrs. William Weinig, and Mrs. Frank Davis, both of Morrisville, two stepsons, Robert Newton of Morrisville and Howard Newton of Denville, N. J., one sister, Mrs. Bessie Stafford, Syracuse; a brother, Eden Baldwin, Ohio, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be a 2 p.m. Sunday at the Charles D. Baker Funeral Home, Morrisville, with the Rev. John P. Irwin, pastor of the Morrisville United Church officiating. Interment will be in Morrisville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Eastern Star services will be at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
