Pfc. Miron Mazepink, son of Stanley and Anna S. Mazepink, of 400 Haverford road, Milmont Park, will be buried with full military honors Saturday morning.

An infantryman, Private Mazepink died in England Aug. 12, 1944, after being wounded in France.

The funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from the John L. Clancy funeral home, Broad and Upland streets. Interment will be in Chester Rural Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call Friday evening.

A native of Woodlyn, Private Mazepink attended Ridley Township High School and worked at the Baldwin Locomotive Works before he joined the Army in October, 1942.

Twenty-two years old when he died, he was a Purple Heart and Silver Star winner.

Surviving besides his parents are three brothers, Walter and Paul, of Milmont Park, and Steve, of Chester.
