Word was received last Saturday night of the serious illness of Mr. Frank Abrams, of Olean, N.Y., a son-in-law of Johnson Wilson, of this place. Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Jacob Black left for that place on the early train Monday morning, but before they had time to reach there, another telegram was received by Mr Wilson announcing his death. Mr. Abrams is well know [sic] here and the lower end of the county, and the family will have the sincere sympathy of all who knew him.
