Harry Page
Harry E. Page, 83, 1003 W. Sixth, died Thursday in a Grand Island hospital after a lingering illness.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Livingston-Sondermann funeral home with the Rev. Charles Olson officiating. Burial will be in Grand Island Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Page was born Nov. 6, 1894, in Chapman [sic], the son of Adolph and Lenora Nicholad [sic, Nichols] Page. He was educated at Chapman and employed by Fairmont Creamery Co. Later he became manager of Rockwell Bowling Alley and later managed the Liederkranz bowling lanes. He retired in 1963.
He and Eva Williamson were married in 1916 and she died in 1932. He and Marjorie Griffin were married in 1951 in Cozad and they had lived in Grand Island since their marriage.
He had belonged to the Liederkranz Society, Elks and Platte-Deutsche Society.
Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Phyllis Alberti of St. Libory; two sisters, Lela Gephardt of Grand Island and Sue Kranz of Norwalk, Calif; a grandson and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by four brothers.
