Charlie would never give up and was always trying to find a cure for his heart defect. He believed that one day, with his fight for a cure, children would not have to suffer with the heart defect that took his life. He was always positive and he was a trooper til the end.
Born to Sharon & Charles Gordon in Greenwood, South Carolina, Charlie was an active, sport loving child. His favorite sports were golf, basketball, bowling, fishing and wrestling. He always used to say "One day I am gonna take on John Cena." Knowing his wired chest would never allow it.
Charlie was a 3rd grader at Hodges Elementary School in Hodges, South Carolina and loved to go to school. He especially loved math and science and once he learned to read, you couldn't stop him.
Charlie, not matter how he was feeling, always had a smile on his face and always wanted to give hugs. He loved people and never came across a stranger. He had big hazel green eyes that would light up when he smiled and his arms were always open for a hug.
Charlie was a blessing, that showed us no matter how bad it is, always have faith in God and one day he will bring you home. Charlie will truly be missed!
