Oscar 'Bo' Strzinek, 84, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Monday, May 9, 2011. He was born January 19, 1927 in Rosenberg, Texas. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII and retired from CP&L.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Strzinek, and his daughter, Cindy Krnavek.

He is survived by his wife, Amy of Corpus Christi, Texas; his daughters, Ann (Derwood) Cann of Ben Wheeler, Texas and Susan (Luis) Alva of Corpus Christi, Texas; his son, Curtis (Jill) Strzinek of Corpus Christi, Texas; his sister, Dolly (Jack) Fojtik of Weimar, Texas; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, May 13, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
