Roger was a resident of Paw Paw, Mich.; a US Navy veteran who served during WWII, an American Legion member of the McGowan-Johnson Post #68 of Paw Paw and a member of the First Baptist Church of Paw Paw. He was the son of Lowell and Gladys (Loomis); the brother of James; Russell, Lawrence, Dale of Paw Paw, Norman of Paw Paw, and Gordon of Kalamazoo. On 6/26/1948 he married Mavis Ladyman in Paw Paw, MI and with her became the parent of three, Steve Conolly of Kalamazoo; Jeff Conolly of Redford, and Linda Imus of Mattawan. Roger had also been a grandfather. He was almost 84 years old.
