Joseph A. Campana, 70, retired from Copperweld

Funeral services will not be held for Joseph A. Campana, 70, 184 Albert St., N.E., who died at 6:59 p.m., Friday (24th) in Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Campana was born March 11, 1914, in Youngstown, a son of Pasquale and Artemecia Maddamma Campana. He lived here [Warren] most of his life.

He worked as a recorder in the inspection department of the Copperweld Steel Corp., retiring in 1976.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Robert J. Campana of Southington; three brothers, Alex Campana of Port Charlotte, Fla., Russell Campana of Xenia and Chester Campana of Euclid; and three grandchildren.

Cremation will be at Lake Park Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. McFarland & Son Funeral Services Co. is handling arrangements.
