John Henry Kincaid married Ellen Jane Culver on February 20, 1878 in Menard County, Illinois. They had two sons: James Earle and John Kennedy. JHK engaged in general farming and in breeding and raising fine horses for a living. Mr. Kincaid was made a Master Mason at the city of Greenview, and also belonged to Chapter and Commaneery at Petersburg, and Consistory and Mystic Shrine at Peoria, IL.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and served as an elder.
