Vera Lou "Jackie" Wright, age 72, of Columbus, passed away Friday, November 29, 2002 at The Manor at Whitehall Nursing Home, where she received loving and gentle care from all the staff and nurses. Born January 10, 1930 in Oak Hill to the late Chester and Mayme (Stroth) Rawlins. Graduate of Oak Hill High School, Class of 1947. Survived by two sons, Eric (wife, Terri) Wright of Jonnstown and Roderick Brett Wright of Worthington; daughter, Dina (husband, George) Dean of Dayton; grandchildren, Chris Sturgill, Morgan Wright, Coleton Wright, and Maxwell Wright; Brother, Dale (wife, Gail) Rawlins of Oak Hill; sisters, Dottie (husband, Luke) Queen of Oak Hill and Jean (husband, Jack) Boganwright of Columbus; many nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours 6-8pm Sunday, December 1 at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral service 2pm Monday, December 2, 2002 at the Kuhner Lwewis Funeral Home, Oak Hill with callin hours from 12 noon until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Oak Hill, Ohio.
