MRS. MARY G. STANLEY
BECKET - Mrs. Mary Galliher Stanley, widow of Arthur Stanley, 79, died at her home Tuesday after a short illness. A native of this town, she had once been employed at the Mapleview Nursing Home. She was a communicant of St. Matthews Church in Becket. She leaves two sons, Francis E. Young of Becket, John H. Young of Chester; one daughter, Mrs. Philip Hatch of Rochester, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral will be Thursday at 8.15 from the Foley funeral home in Dalton followed by a Mass at 9 in St. Patrick's Church in Hinsdale with burial in North Becket Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
