PICHER BABY DIES HERE
AFTER SHORT ILLNESS
An illness of twenty-four hours proved fatal to Bettie Nell Likens, 17 months old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Likens, residing west of Picher, while the family was on a visit to the home of Mr. Likens' Mother, Mrs. Ida Likens, 100 Picher avenue, yesterday.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Union church at Picher with the Rev. Wesley Post, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in Welch cemetery at Welch.
Surviving besides the parents and grandmother are a sister, Alene, and two brothers, Earl Likens, jr., and Billy Newton Likens.
