Miss Fanny J. Yates, a daughter of Dr. Charles M. Yates, of Meadville, Pa., and the niece of President Buchanan, with whom she was a great favorite, almost an adopted daughter, died at a Water-Cure establishment in Cleveland, Ohio, of consumption, last Thursday.
