SCHUTE RITES ON SATURDAY AT ST. MARY'S
Local Resident Died at Her Home on Thursday
74 YEARS OLD
Final rites were said Saturday at St. Mary's church here for Mrs. Herman Schute, 74, who died last Thursday at her home here. The services were conducted by Rev. Louis Grunewald, pastor of St. Mary's, and burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery in charge of the Steger funeral home.
The former Louise Kreisle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kreisle, was born in Stillwater, Minnesota, February 8, 1879. On May 8, 1900, she was married to Herman Schute and the couple had made their home here.
Mrs. Schute is survived by Mr. Schute, six sons, Arnold of Guttenberg, Urban of Waterloo, Adelbert of Dubuque, Raymond of Guttenberg, Marvin of Farley and LaVern of Los Angeles, California, and four daughters, Miss Dorothy Schute of Guttenberg, Mrs. Clarence Keller of Lansing, Mrs. Cyril Kluesner of Guttenberg and Mrs. O. L. Padden of Dubuque.
Also surviving are 27 grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as a sister, Mrs. Sadie Latz of Los Angeles, California.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two grandchildren.
