Born in Elizabeth, N.J., a son of the late Charles and Catherine (Miller) Enz.
He was a resident of Monroe County for the past 8 years. His prior residence was
in Phillipsburg, N.J.
He worked for Rolling Hills Care Center in Lebanon, N.J., as a dishwasher for
the past 2 years, and worked for Peppe's Ristorante in East Stroudsburg as a
prep cook and dishwasher for 7 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, James W. Enz Jr. of
Stockton, N.J., Paul J. Enz of Dallas, Charles J. Enz of Pocono Summit, and
Jerry C. Enz of Stroudsburg; a daughter, Carolyn Riker of Marshalls Creek; a
brother, Michael Enz of Elizabeth, N.J.; a sister, Amelia Zehl of Elizabeth,
N.J.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 1998 at 9:30 a.m. in the
Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, with Rev. Raymond Poortstra officiating.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, October 29, 1998 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the
funeral home.
Committal will take place in Stroudsburg Cemetery.
