Arthur Ardie Baxter was born on the 17th of Dec 1874 in Kansas. He was the son of Marvin Baxter and Caroline (Gibler) Cable Baxter. He had an older sister from his mothers first marriage name Amy Jane Cable (FAG #6214589) and a younger brother Emerson Baxter. Arthur was married to his first wife Emma Frances Webber on the 30th of March 1898 and they had a daughter Gertrude within that first year of marriage. Sadly their daughter passed shortly after birth. Then in 1900 they had a second daughter they named Ruth. When Ruth was 7 months old her mother Emma passed away. Arthur quickly remarried on the 24th of November 1902 to Bertha Riker. Arthur Baxter passed away in the year 1960 in the state of Tennessee.
