He was born January 18, 1928 in Price, UT, son of Clifford Russell Higgins and Orilla Jones. Jack served his country in the United States Navy and later worked as a business owner for Bestway Distributing Company for 46 years.
Surviving are wife, Eula Jean Higgins; son, Mark & Kathy Higgins; daughter, Coni & Dewayne Molder; son, Dana & Gaylene Higgins; son, Bret & Andrea Higgins; son, Eric & Cindy Higgins; daughter, Geri Forsythe; 30 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A public viewing will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 8:30am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Services at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in the Riverside National Cemetery at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the missionary fund for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
