C.W. loved to hunt and fish with a passion. It was said he "could catch a fish in a bathtub with no water in it". He helped with his dad to work with cows and build fences together for them. When he was 7 and 8 years old, he lived next door to his grandparents, his grandfather said that " C.W. could shimmy under the fence and run to him, when he called, faster than a rabbit. He was a good boy.
Survivors include his father, Charles William McPhail, Sr. of Simpson Co., mother, the former Sylvia Ann Jones of Simpson Co., his only sibling, Brittany Faith McPhail of Simpson Co.,grand parents, Robert W. McPhail, Sr. and Annie Lou Scoggins McPhail of Simpson Co., also, other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark Seep Funeral Home will be arranging visitation at the Antioch Baptist Church on Old Pearl Road in Simpson Co., just outside of Florence MS. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
