Ronald Eugene Winget, 60, of South Hinman Street died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2003, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Mr. Winget was formerly employed at Golden Casting Corp. and was a veteran of the National Guard.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Inlow & Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Delbert Riddle officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from noon until service time Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Born in Muncie May 12, 1942, Mr. Winget was the son of Russell and Hazel Rollin Winget. He married Brenda Joyce Sexton June 19, 1966.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, of Columbus; sons, Jeffery and George Winget, both of Columbus; daughters, Shari Mullins, Sarah Ping and Brenda Bramble, all of Columbus; a brother, Richard Winget of Scipio; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Carl and John Winget; and a sister, Dorothy Winget.

The funeral for Ronald Eugene Winget, 60, of South Hinman Street was Monday at Barkes, Inlow & Weaver Funeral Home with the Rev. Delbert Riddle officiating. Special music and remarks were given by family and friends.
Burial was at Garland Brook Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rex Brown, Delbert and Randy Sexton, Travis Sneed, Ronald Ping, Don Purkey and Larry Ward Jr.
