Leonard W. Reading, 61, 315 W. 7th St., died at Richmond Hospital Sunday morning after an extended illness. Born in Randolph County, he lived in Eaton before moving to Muncie 29 years ago. He had been employed as a refrigeration man before his illness.
Surviving are his wife, Pluma; three sons, James A., Donald J., and Robert L., all of Muncie; three daughters, Mrs. Richard Mullinex, Mrs. Terry Erhardt, and Mrs. Steve Gillum, all of Muncie; a half-sister, Mrs. Katherine Codare, Muncie; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at Parson Mortuary at 10 a.m. Wednesday with burial in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
