Charles Walter Davis, the oldest man in town and holder of the Boston Post cane, passed away at his home in this place on Wednesday, March 23, aged 91 years, 7 months and 24 days. He was born in Woods Hole, the son of Edmund and Lucy (Eldridge) Davis. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment in the Village cemetery.
