Don graduated from John C. Fremont High School in Los Angeles in 1950. I was in the class of 1951. I have never met Don personally but have spoken to him many times by phone and through e-mail. From talking to him and the assistance he gave me in securing another copy of my lost School Annual which was destroyed in a fire. He knew I was devastated and how much a copy meant to me since it was 51 years old and held all of my high school memories. He told me not to worry he would see that I would get another. He was a kind-hearted, compassionate, humble and chartiable person. I am going to miss talking and our e-mails. His charity and kindness to others remains his greatest legacy. Thanks Don, you will be missed.
