Erysipelas caused the death at 9 o'clock Sunday evening of Mrs Lottie Hance, ages 77, at her home in Clemons.
Mrs Hance was born Perry in New York state June 17, 1838 and came west in 1845 settling in Illinois. In 1875 she came to Biven's Grove, and later to Clemons, where she had lived for eighteen years. In 1892 she was married to Thomas Hance at Clemons. There were no children and he died in 1895. Mrs Hance leaves one sister, Mrs Mary Thorpe of Los Angeles, California. There is a nephew, F.S. Perry and a nice Mrs H F Smith, both of Clemons.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from the Christian Church in Clemons with burial in the Biven's Grove Cemetery.
