Funeral services were held at the Van Inwegen Funeral Home, Wurtsboro, at 2 p.m. Tuesday for Madison R. Galloway, 80, of Phillipsport, who died Saturday at Hamilton Avenue Hospital, Monticello.
Born in Phillipsport July 12, 1885, Mr. Galloway was the son of David and Almeda Bradford Galloway. He married the former Emma Allen.
He was a member of the Ellenville Masonic Lodge, the Junior Order of United American Mechanics, Middletown, and was a retired trackman for the O. & W. Railroad.
Survivors include his wife and a sister, Mrs. Arthur Ralston, Circleville.
A Masonic service was held at the funeral home Monday night.
Officiating at the rites was Rev. Peter Pignalofa.
Burial was in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Phillipsport.
