Willie Mae Gray, 84, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation is Monday, May 16, 2011 from 4 - 7 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, and 10 am Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Shiloh United Methodist Church. Funeral Services are 11 am Tuesday at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Rankin County, MS. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.

She was born on March 20, 1927 in Pelahatchie, MS to the late Rob Brown and the late Clara Rhodes Brown. On November 28, 1946, she married R. C. Gray. She was very active and involved in State, County and Community affairs. She loved her family and was known for her wit and good nature. She was a longtime member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Glen Gray; and a grandson, Nathan Gray.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, R. C. Gray of Pelahatchie, MS; children, Judy White, Janet Townsend and husband, Eugene, and Carl Gray and wife, Francine, all of Pelahatchie, MS; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
