Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend has left us, here on earth, for his next great adventure.

Darryel was born in Bismark, North Dakota, to Herbert and Frieda Bibelheimer, and moved, with his family, to Salem, OR in 1947.

He is survived by his wife - Helen Bibelheimer, his children - Dawn Bibelheimer-Thomas, Danielle Reierson, DeAnne Reierson. Darren Reierson, Wendy Hull, his grandchildren - Kellie Keefer, Kristine Thomas, Dylan Reierson, Musette Hull, Adam Ahlbin, his great grandchild - Ethan Keefer, his siblings - Bud Bibelheimer, Milo Bibelheimer, Verda Mindt, Marilyn Satter, and all the extra people that his family never seemed to stop bringing home, who needed some extra fatherly support. Darryel graduated from North Salem High in 1956 and joined the Navy as an aviation electrician. He worked as a journeyman at Marion Electric going on to open Cherry City Electric with his friend, Jim Davis, in 1974. He was voted serviceman of the year in appreciation for dedicated service and outstanding performance December 6, 1996. In August 2010 he received a 50 year member certificate and pin in honor of his loyal and faithful years of membership in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Darryel loved a lot of things. Movies & ice cream were at the top of his list, in later years, but we remember so much more. He loved to join the kids, when they were out camping, or on other adventures. He always made sure he knew where we would be, and then he'd drive out, with Mom, to surprise us and spend the day. On many occasions, his timing would be perfect, like the time his daughter, Dawn, and her husband had an electrical problem with their boat at the end of a camping trip. Darryel's electrical wizardry saved the day on so many occasions. A Special Thank You to Odyssey Hospice for their kindness and support during the families time of need.

We are all so happy you are now at peace, Dad. You will be missed dearly by us all. We love you.

A Celebration of his life will be held at Unity of Salem on Saturday, June 4th at 2pm
