Funeral services were held for Darrel Dalton Estis, Sr., 67, of Howell on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Movella Trinity Pentecostal Church, with Reverends Larry Turner and Brandon Rogers officiating the services.
Interment followed in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.
A farmer and member of the Pentecostal faith, he died September 21, 2008.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian Estis of Mobile, Ala.; his wife, Mary "Jackie" Estis; two sons, Darrel (Rhonda) Estis and David (Tammy) Estis, both of Lucedale; three grandsons, Daniel Estis of Lucedale, Cam Jones of Mobile, Ala., and Josh Jones of Cullman, Ala.; five granddaughters, Dara, Dailee, Elizabeth and Melody Estis, all of Lucedale and Stephanie Lovett of Mobile, Ala. He is also survived by 4 brothers, 3 sisters and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Comer Estis; his daughter, Judy Estis and granddaughter, Deanna Estis.
Pallbearers included Daniel Estis, Cam Jones, Josh Jones, Brandon McCullough, Todd Estis and Jeremy Carter.
