Augustine E. (Covas) Deakle "Kitty" - a native of Heron Bay, AL and a resident of Irvington, AL. She left this wicked world and went home with Jesus, May 17, 2011 at a local hospital after a long illness. She was a special daughter, sister, niece, aunt, wife, mom, grand-mother and great-grand-mother. She was a precious, loving wife to Bob for 45 years. She was more than just a blessing, she was "my everything". When I picked her, I picked a rose out of our Savior's Garden. She is preceded in death by dad Joseph S. Covas Sr. and mom Dorothy Belle (Kelly) Covas, brothers Joseph S. Covas Jr. and Henry V. Covas, and sister Ramona (Covas) Harris. She is survived by her husband Robert W. Deakle Sr. "Bob", sisters Dawn Grainer, Alfreda Clark (Lin), Sarah Collier (Ronnie), brothers Francis Covas (Patsy), Alfonse Covas (Joanne), children Loretta L. (Deakle) Stapleton (Martin), Robert W. Deakle II (Kelly), and Brett D. Deakle (Leigh), grand-children Kelly D. Strickler (Jeremy), James Stapleton, Joshua Stapleton, Chase Deakle, Julia Deakle, Landon Deakle, Tyler Smith, Gavin Smith and Jourdan Smith, 2 great grand-children Savannah Strickler and Nathaniel Kirby, and a special "sister in Christ" Elaine Davis. Visitation will be Wednesday May 18, 2011 at Bethel Holiness Church B.L.B. Irv. Hwy, Irvington, AL from 5pm until. The service will be from the church, Thursday May 19, 2011 at 1pm. Interment will be at Dorlon Cemetery, Heron Bay, AL. ARRANGEMENTS BY GILMER'S FUNERAL HOME.
