Christina was 74 years 2 months 3 days when she died.

Christina was the daughter of George Peter Werts Sr. and Susannah Hoff. Her grandparents were Peter Phillip Werts (son of Wilhelm Wurtz Sr. and Anna Catherina ?) and his wife Christina Eberhardt and Phillip Hoff and his wife Rosina Feuerstein (daughter of Hans Nicholas Feuerstein and Anna Catherina Nonnemacher.)

The surname Werts is spelled in various records as Wirtz, Wurtz, Wirts, Virts, Verts and other variations. It seems that the family mostly used Werts after they came to Muskingum, Ohio although some records vary. The family staying behind in Virginia settled on the Virts spelling. Christina's Feuerstein grandparents are the immigrant ancestors for most of the Firestones found in America. More information on them can be found in the Shirer Family Genealogy Project.

From the Book "Marriages of Loudoun co. VA 1757-1853," Mary Alice Wertz:
Adams, Georg & Christina Wirtz, dau. of Peter Wirtz; both single. By license. m. 25 Dec. 1814.. ParReg A.

(ParReg A was the parish register of New Jerusalem Evengelical Lutheran Church in Lovettsville, Loudoun Co., VA.)
