Mrs. Sarah Lovvorn died Wednesday night at 7 o'clock, June 30th, 1915 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. B.F. James, on the Piney road near this city. She was born in January 1838 in Indiana and moved when a child to this county and has resided here ever since. She was a Methodist in belief, but was not a member of any church so far as we have learned.
Hood's Graveyard near Shady Grove was the place of the interment which took place Thursday, Rev. I.W. Talley, officiating.
Mrs. Lovvorn is survived by 5 children, 3 daughters: Mrs. B.F. James, of Marion; Mrs. Ed Tremal, of Flat Rock and Mrs. Corda Hughes of Marion; and two sons: James R. Lovvorn, of Louisville and Thos. Lovvorn of Repton, KY.
