Sena R. Kastens, daughter of Margaret Brinkhoff and John H. Kastens, was born at home 1893, at the family farm near Olathe KS. Sister of Minnie, and Louis Kastens. They attended Pleasant View elementary school, and Sena worked as clerk for John Taylor Stores in Kansas City Mo.
After marriage to Charles H. Noland, they moved to a small farm near Olathe Ks. where their daughter was born. They purchased a farm near Olathe, and in 1937 sold and moved to a 75 acre farm at Ocheltree Ks.
After Charles died she worked at the Olathe Naval Station until 1952 and later moved to Olathe Ks. where she worked for Kansas School for Deaf until 1963,
Sena died at Olathe Hospital October 3,1964. and was buried at Lenexa Cemetery, Lenexa Ks. in the Kastens family plot.
