The daughter of Eli & Fannie Roberts of O'hara Township. Her mother’s maiden name was Kay. Emma married Joseph Milbert on March 1, 1894 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania by Justice of the Peace Newton Petrie (PA Allegheny Co. Series B Marriage License Docket #18065). Joseph was born May 17, 1872 in Sharpsburg where he and Emma lived and he worked as a laborer. She died on August 16, 1918 at age 46 years 6 months and 15 days. The date of birth is confirmed on the death certificate. She died at 13th Street in Sharpsburg by the PA railroad tracks, her body crushed when it was struck by a shifting railroad engine. Her residence was at #327 10th Street in Sharpsburg. Buried from the Holzheimer & Bock Funeral Home.
