Eugene Irwin Pentz, 71 died, Friday, September 17, 1993 in Ogden.

He was born January 30 1922 on Morgan, Utah a son of Jacob Grover Ruby Irwin Pentz

He married Beverly Barber, they were later divorced. on January 24 1970 he married Valora N. Chournos in Elko Nevada.

He served in the U. s. Army during World War II.

He was a member of L.D.S. church. He retired from Hill Air Force Base and had been a sheep ranch and a tapper.

Surviving are his wife of Uintah, one son and two daughters, Kelly and Jane Pentz; Switzerland; Wendy Colleen Pentz, Australia; Suzanne Coy, Boulder, Colorado; 10 grandchildren.

Also surviving are six brothers and three sisters, Charlie, Jay, on, Wendell, Kendall all of Morgan; Wayne Layton; Margorin Smith, Sand Point Idaho; Wanda Woolsey and Florene Glass, both of Morgan.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Beth and Helen.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 12 noon in the North Morgan Cemetery.
