Dorie and Walter had three children:

Walter Laurie Derwood(1936-1990) Married Doris Cable and had 4 children. Marriage ended in divorce.
Paula Lee (1938 - Alive) Married Perry Bond & had 2 children
Norman Tod (1940 - Alive) Married Frances Sarnelli and had 2 children. Marriage ended in divorce.

After Dorie and Walter were divorced Dorie move to California whith her children. There she married Louis D. Magdits in April 25, 1964. This marriage also ended in divorce
