Lila Jean Constable, 58, of Ridgway, died Monday morning, May 8, 2000 at her home.

Born July 24, 1941 in Hawthorn, she was a daughter of Lyle and Helen (Heeter) Crawford.

Mrs. Constable was a 1959 graduate of Redbank Valley High School and the Clarion Business College.

She was married to Bill Blauser. He survives.

Formerly of Hawthorn, Mrs. Constable resided in the Ridgway area for the last 37 years. She attended the St. Leo Catholic Church. Mrs. Constable enjoyed participating in the Craft Club and spending time with her grandchildren. She was employed by Carbon City Products, the St. Marys High School, the employment office, the Office of Human Services and the Area Transportation Authority.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father, Lyle Crawford of Hawthorn; two sons, Jeffrey Constable of St. Marys and Rodney Constable of Ridgway; a daughter, Sherri Lovett of St Marys, three step-sons, Joseph Blauser and John Blauser, both of Ridgway, and Timothy Blauser of Cleveland, Ohio; and 16 grandchildren.

Mrs. Constable is also survived by a sister, Nancy McCauley of Mill Hall; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Sue Fava, of Ridgway.

Including her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ritchey.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 am today (Wednesday), May 10, 2000 at St Leo Catholic Church with the Rev. Rob Horgas, pastor, officiating.

Interment followed in the MAUSOLEUM at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
